The PaperCut Client needs to be running on your computer in order to print to a public printer. You will also need your Pcard to touch the papercut release station and then select your print job on the touchpad for printing. Your job automatically deletes in 2 hours if not printed.
The PaperCut Client is located on the \\print server. You can then choose the OS version to download (for Mac, Windows, etc.). Here are more detailed instructions on how to download the PCClient .
Macintosh ( Leopard , Snow Leopard)
1. Go ahead and print your file but select the intended printer or group. We have a Follow-Me printing system on some campus printers, whereby you can print to not a single printer but a cluster of printers and then walk up to any printer within that cluster to print your job.
Currently, we have two printer groups. Other printer groups will be created in the future.
2. After sending your print job, if it’s your first time logging in, you may be asked to re-input your username and password into the PaperCut client.

Afterwards, You may get this message on a mac.

Or this message on windows.

This confirms that your document has been sent to the print queue.
Go over to the printer where there is a Papercut Release Station located. Touch your Pcard to the sensor as in the picture below.

4. Your username will show up and subsequently, your print jobs will show up in a list.
5. Tap on the print job you would like to print, The selected print job is highlighted upon touching it. You may even select multiple print jobs. Note that the number of pages and any costs for the print job will be displayed on the right. [$0.25 for a color page] The total cost for the entire print job is displayed on the bottom right.
6. Now tap the green print button to send your job to the printer or hit the red C/CE button to cancel.
Cancelling a Print Job
If you change your mind about the print job, you can just let it expire, or you can cancel it from your computer by following these steps.

Click on Details on the Papercut window.
Login to your papercut account.

On the left hand side of the screen, click Jobs Pending Release
And then click the cancel by the print job you want to cancel.

If you have a problem with the printer and your document does not print or jams, you are able to request a refund for any jobs that incurred a cost. Any refund request is sent to and ITS staff member and will be processed and notification sent to you.
In order to refund, go to Recent Print Jobs and click on “Request Refund” on the far right of the print job to be refunded.
