One Word URLs at Grinnell

For any computer connected to the GRIN network (basically everything except the MathLAN), there are several one word (or significantly shortened) URLs that can be typed into a web browser to take you to certain college websites.

bookshopwb - In town bookshop

calendar - Campus calendar

cam3 - Cisco NAC manager (also cam1 and cam2 ; formerly cam )

db - Campus directory

finearts - Fine Arts home page

help - ITS Hotlines (also kbox and kbox1 . Admin interface at kbox2 )

helpdesk - Page to ask a TC questions via online chat or text or check hours of the helpdesk.

KDIC - KDIC Radio's homepage

www.lib - Burling library home (the www is important, so perhaps this isn't technically a one word, but close enough)

loggia - Grinnell Alumni Association (also rencweb )

lyris - Lyris Listserver manager (also ls and lsrvr )

mail - Outlook Web Access (also cas1 , cas2 , mail3 , webmail )

mailfilter - IronPort web manager

www.math - Grinnell College Math Department home page (also www.cs for historical reasons)

passwordreset - Password Reset (also ps and pswdreset )

pdid - Pioneer Digital Image Database

pweb - Pioneer web (also pioneerweb , pioneerweb2 , bb , or blackboard . Test servers at bbtest and bbupdate )

sga - SGA website

tcdb - TCDB home page (also ucdb for historical reasons )

wco - WebCheckout for the AV Center

www- Grinnell home page (also  wm , ws , webserver , and webmaster)

newoptivity - Phone system manager

papercut:9191 - PaperCut print server (:9191 is required because the web interface isn't on the normal port 80)

sci - Flash communication server for science department

theshed - Tableau server (currently not loading!)

vc - VMware VirtualCenter manager

vc - VMware Web Access

vkernel - VMware Capacity Analyzer

webblade - New Grinnell home page test server (formerly webtest )

wm2 - Old Grinnell College homepage
