If you can't connect to the internet, but need to install or update Malwarebytes, follow these steps to manually update Malwarebytes:
1. First, download and install Malwarebytes, from www.malwarebytes.org, on a different computer with internet access.

2. Copy the Malwarebytes installer, likely located at C:\Users\Username\Downloads, onto a flash drive.

3. After installing Malwarebytes, make sure it is completely updated.

4. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and copy the file rules.ref onto the flash drive.

5. Now navigate to C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Configuration and copy the file database.conf onto the flash drive.

6. Plug the flash drive into the computer that can't connect to the internet and uninstall any old versions of Malwarebytes.
7. Using the installer on the flash drive, install Malwarebytes
8. Now, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and replace the rules.ref file with the one on the flash drive.
9. Finally, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Configuration and replace the database.conf file with the one on the flash drive
10. Now run the fully updated Malwarebytes!
